DONATIONS & VOLUNTEERS
Tuition Donation

Tuition for many of the less fortunate students is generously donated by patrons of our community, and is not limited to those who have children attending KIS. If you would like to sponsor a child please contact KIS. Your donation is considered sadaqa jariya (ongoing charity).
Other Donations
​
There are many other donation opportunities at KIS including sponsorship of snacks, donations toward prizes for competitions and donations of cost of operations.
Volunteering
​
KIS has been able to keep tuition very low due to the administration, staff and volunteers tireless efforts at giving their personal time, without pay.
KIS expects each family to donate 10 hours each year to help keep operation costs low. You may be able to donate only 1 hour a month, but each minute you spend helping at KIS makes a great differece.
Volunteering areas include:
* Kitchen
* Teaching
* Clean up
* Teachers Aid
* Event Prep
* Competition Judges

Snack Donations
Any interested party may sponsor a snack day. You do not have to be a parent of a student to donate. You can either contribute the funds or prepare the snack yourself.
